Compared to other buildings influencing the area they are in, the airport terminal also has a very important effect on the sky. An airport is a part of what maintains the buoyancy of aircrafts and also to all cities it becomes a gateway. Looking at Lucknow Airport you understand why the initial design starts from fascination of paper planes and their folded wings and a symbol of the basic flight arresting the fancy of a child.
The building’s elevation that makes up the terminal reminds one of folded wings that a paper plane has. These are huge wings falling on either side like cantilevers do, of the terminal building running 200m long.
