Salar de Uyuni is found at an altitude of 11,995 feet making it a perplexing salt flat found in the heart of Altiplano in Bolivia. Its reflective properties are well observable more so after it has been covered by water. The briny land strata made in times of rain changes the dry salt’s plated pockets into one huge mirror, ending up creating an illusion that one is walking above water. As much as the salty terrain is gorgeous on itself, introducing waters creates some very unbelievably surreal effect.
During days when it is all cloudy, the view is just exceptional since one seems to walk across the floor of the heavens within the skies.
