Under Threats in Huge and Long Whale Sculptures in the Patagonian Forests

The relationship of nature and humans has not been rosy as Adrian Villar Rojas has depicted through cement, wood and clay. The representation the master sculpture has created is dubbed ‘My Family Dead’ and shows a huge blue whale in its life-size in the Argentinean forest of Ushuaia, around the artist’s home town.

You might not be moved by the threat or suffering nature of the huge mammal in water and what it endures but the jutting tree stumps of the body of the whale will make you curious about what was initially there-the magnificent creature or the trees. It is artistic work that makes you think.
